Technology

Ongoing research and development has led to breakthrough technologies such as the patented Airflow Stabilizer, an innovative leap forward in club head design that advances the aerodynamics and performance of our golf clubs.

The Airflow Stabilizer consists of two deep airflow channels at the rear of the club head that extend from the heel to the toe of the club head. By channeling the airflow turbulence that forms behind the upper and lower trailing edges of the golf club head into the Airflow Stabilizer, the head is actually propelled forward. This not only reduces drag, but it increases the efficiency and control of each swing.

This revolutionary design allows the club head to travel up to 10% more efficiently and acts to stabilize the club head on the downswing and through impact. By improving stability on the downswing, club head speed increases, enabling golfers to consistently hit the ball further and straighter.

The superior performance, quality and good looks of Makser Golf clubs have made Makser the choice of touring professionals worldwide.

Airflow Stabilizer technology is patented and featured exclusively in Makser Golf clubs. In 2004, Makser proudly introduces its innovative line of golf clubs to the United States and Canada.

Features and Benefits
  * 919CCG stands for Custom Center of Gravity. By the use of a large, pure copper rear/sole weight on each 919 head, the center of gravity is moved much farther back from the face than is possible in any homogenous material, non-backweighted design. TWGT computer modeling and testing has proven that the farther back the CG from the face and shaft, the higher the launch angle will be for any given loft angle. By moving the CG 6mm farther back than possible in non-backweighted designs, the 919 is able to generate the same launch angle that would require additional loft.
* By generating the optimal launch angle with the CG, the 919 can employ less loft to thus maximize the ball velocity off the face. The result is a high launch for maximum carry, with a higher ball speed to further add to the distance potential.
* True launch angle from each 919CCG wood is 1 degree higher than what the loft would otherwise indicate on a conventional woodhead design that does not move the CG farther back in the head.
* 919CCG 340cc 9.5 loft driver is for players who already hit the ball reasonably high, who prefer a slightly smaller modern driver size, and who do not display a wide variation in mis-direction tendency.
* 919CCG 380cc 11 loft driver is for players who hit the ball with a medium trajectory, who prefer a little larger modern driver size, who may have more of a tendency to push/fade the ball.
* 919CCG 380cc High Launch driver is for all players with a swing speed <90 mph who hit the ball with a medium-to-lower trajectory, for any swing speed player who hits the ball with a low trajectory, and who have more of a tendency to push/fade the ball.
  * 919CCG driver faces are forged from SP700 titanium, one of the two best Ti alloys for its combination of strength + elasticity. All faces are forged and then CNC machined with the TWGT computer-modeled variable thickness face design to ensure a higher ball speed from slight off-center hits.
  * 919CCG fairway woods will generate a noticeably higher trajectory than other fairway woods of the same loft. Recommended for players who need a higher trajectory with the fairway woods to carry farther, or bite sooner on the green.
  * 919CCG fairway woods are precision investment-cast from Custom 450 high-strength steel, which allows a thinner face design for a slightly higher ball speed and "hot" feel at impact.
  * 919CCG #5-wood is designed with a slightly taller face height than the 3-wood. This allows the CG to be better positioned in the 5-wood preventing too high of a trajectory that could otherwise "balloon" in the air, losing distance at the 5-wood loft of 18.5 degrees.
  * All 919CCG woodheads are finished in a brilliant black metallic finish, with bright satin polish on the exposed titanium and copper surfaces.
