Custom club fitting is not a new concept, MacGregregor's Tommy Armour line featured a basic "fitting system" in 1935.  The properly fit set of clubs will be a best fit scenario to match your equipment with your ability.

At Custom Clubs Unlimited we start all our fittings with an evaluation of your existing equipment.  Many people have good equipment they have paid good money for but it just doesn't fit them properly.  We will always start with your current set of clubs and give an honest evaluation on how well the clubs fit you.  Custom Clubs Unlimited is in the club fitting business not the club selling business.  It is our experience the cost of retrofitting your existing set of clubs to you can be a savings of up to 50% when compared to a brand new set of custom built clubs.

Our Fitting Session is $75 and lasts between 2-3 hours.  All fittings are done by appointment.  We will take as much time as is required to get your clubs dialed in to fit you.

bulletWe use a Bengston Swing analyzer to record important information about your swing.  Some of the many items we look at are the following:

bulletWe use a Vector Launch monitor for all our clubfitting when a performance based fitting is requested.  We can perform Ball fitting or Reshafting analysis using this launch monitor.

 

 

bulletThe golf swing is a dynamic process.  Anyone who tells you they are custom fitting your golf clubs but does not have you hit golf balls is not offering you a custom fitting.  All our fittings include the following dynamic measurements:

bulletGrip sizing - Many people are not aware that you can have your golf grips sized to fit you.  There are many different sizes of golf grips starting at Jr. size and working up to a Men's Jumbo.  To know what size grips you should have you need to have your hand dimensions measured and to actually feel the size of the grip in your hand.
